The Best Time to Post on YouTube

I'm gonna share with you the best times to post your videos to maximize views, all thanks to some awesome tips from Buffer.

Now, I gotta be honest with you, I don't usually use YouTube much myself – I'm more of a Bluesky fan. But I do upload my stream VODs on YouTube, so I get it. There’s a whole lot that goes into making your videos successful, like catchy titles, eye-popping thumbnails, and of course, top-notch content. And guess what? Timing plays a huge role too!

So, without further ado, the absolutely best time to post on YouTube is Wednesday at 4 p.m. That’s when videos tend to get the most views. But Thursday at 4 p.m. and Monday at 4 p.m. aren't bad either.

For most days of the week, posting anywhere between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. is a pretty sweet spot. Here’s a quick rundown of the best times for each day:

Monday: 4 p.m., 3 p.m., 5 p.m.

Tuesday: 3 p.m., 4 p.m., 5 p.m.

Wednesday: 4 p.m., 3 p.m., 5 p.m.

Thursday: 4 p.m., 3 p.m., 5 p.m.

Friday: 3 p.m., 4 p.m., 5 p.m.

Saturday: 5 p.m., 3 p.m., 4 p.m.

Sunday: 3 p.m., 4 p.m., 5 p.m.
